Soliant Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
4th Grade General Education Teacher for an
on-site position in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an elementary teacher, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for fostering the growth and development of young students. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative school community for the remainder of the school year, with the potential for contract renewal if the candidate is a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans for 4th-grade students in line with state standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress through tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support student achievement.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and organized classroom environment.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Must have a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification for PreK-5.
- PA Clearances are required for employment.
- Previous experience teaching elementary grades (preferably 4th grade) is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom situations and student needs.
- A passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically and socially.
